Myths About Aging
Cris Hardaway tackles the myths of aging, along with Ruth Ann Shelton, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Day Services; Ken Cope, Vice-President of Home Instead Senior Care; Lynn Doyle, Marketing Director at Delta Medical Center; and Bob Bernstein, President of Geriatric Consultants. The group engage in a dynamic and lively discussion on a variety of ideas regarding the 55 and over crowd. Such concepts discussed include the idea that seniors are depressed, lonely, at risk for mental decline, and lack creativity. We learn truths based off the experience form these experts that counter and put these ideas in a proper perspective.
